Cheating on Campus !
In the article "Studies Find More Students Cheating, With High Achievers No Exception," by Richard Perez-Pena it points out a lot of colleges allow their students to cheat. This article explains how the colleges could avoid their students cheating, and how it is so easy for the students to cheat.
This article consists of quotes by professors and directors. One fact that stood out was that 2010 Yale undergraduates did not read the school's policy on academic honesty and that they were unsure about the rules of sharing or recycling work. Schools need to make it a priority to tell students about the seriousness of cheating or plagiarizing.
I think that cheating is wrong. If you are unsure about an answer you shouldn't cheat off of a friend, you should go to or email a teacher and ask for assistance.
This article reminds me of when one day someone tried to cheat off of me on a test. That person got caught and we both got an F, because the teacher thought i allowed that person to cheat off of me. This is similar to the article cause it deals with cheating and getting caught.
The article helps me realize people will do anything to get to the top. They will cheat their way to the top if that means in the end they can have their dream job and be successful. It also makes me think about if any of the kids that cheat ever feel bad that they just got a good grade off of something that they didn't do. In the near future i hope that people in the world will stop cheating.
This article makes me wonder how many other schools are allowing their students to cheat or plagiarize. Also, if schools are allowing their students to cheat just so they can have high test score results in the school district. Maybe when someone do further investigation on cheating around schools they will come up with these answers.
